    Worked for this one

Chased this guy around the park(and it's a BIG park) when I finally gave up and was looking at something else he came, landed and just "posed". Guess he thought I needed the exercise and the "pose" was my reward for the work out . Or maybe he just knew that my High School Mascot was a Cardinal........

Very nice and the exercise was probably benificial , atleast from my perspective since I get to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Nicely done, it's amazing that they seem to react to a camera pointed at them.

And don't you always feel much more satisfaction when you've nailed one that you've had to bit of effort in to capture. Well done.

Thank you Izzie. I loved his hair, reminded of all the boys at my son's school

I love cardinals. We have them around our home and I put sunflower seeds in the feeder just for them. We've yet to get any shots as good as yours yet but working on it.

My girlfriend told me just last week, as we were half eyed and sipping coffee in the early morning light, that cardinals are visiting loved ones that have passed on. I'm not sure how accurate it is considering none of them have tried to talk to me yet, but I like her idea. Made the day better.

I love that sentiment! I will now think about it every time I see one, thank you and your girlfriend.

So that's what a real cardinal looks like...I've only ever seen one on baseball jerseys. We don't have them out here in California, at least not this part of it.

Funny that you say that, It was our mascot in High School and the picture of our mascot had both arms up and showed bulging muscles so when I see a real cardinal I am always looking for those, never happen
