    Trethevy Quoit, Cornwall.

A well preserved and impressive neolithic chamber tomb, with a dramatically slopping capstone. Norden , in 1598, desribed it as 'a little howse raysed of mightie stones, standing on a little hill within a fielde', which is just as it appears today. The site is one of two in Cornwall.

Number 5 captures Norden's quote. All are very well captured.

Nice sky as well. A pity about the houses in the background of some angles; but you have also managed some good clear background shots.

I would have said I like #5 best for the angle of the composition and the cloud formation ... then noticed the village at the RHS...OK,I like #5 in this series without the houses.

About thirty feet away on one side there is a row of modernised cottages that REALLY spoil any view of the quoit !

    I prefer #5. Would b&w work better?
