Surely it is not 50 but rather 254?
My histogram suggests actually it is about 230 and looks better when contrast is increased to cover the 254 ... but of course that is on my un-calibrated monitor so it could be off.

Another great capture Phil
Title: 50 shades of grey
1st sentence : now I got your attention
2nd sentence : Here's the anti climax of a famous view in London. **** no sex..
Beside that, I think this kind of pictures should not be hard, but soft. As it is.
Some words are automatic deleted I see.
George
From article headlines I have glimpsed regarding the film this scene may be more interesting
I believe there are concerns at present regarding the structure of this landmark.
There's nothing like S&M - Super & Mono that is. Classic and very nice Phil.
Nicely captured, and nice pull with the title.
Yep, based on the reviews I've seen, this is a much higher quality product than the movie that's just been released.
I have to say that I am 100% behind the rape crisis and domestic violence groups that are calling for the movie to be boycotted.

Phil, excellent capture, tempts me to look around London again ... An infinitely more pleasing prospect than the movie!
Great capture
just one word : WOW.......
Phil, thanks, I'll take you up on that ... I should be heading down in a couple of months time.. will drop you a line when the plans are a bit clearer
Yet another excellent image from your production studio, Phil. Nicely composed and executed. Well done.
I gotta say up front...the title completely went waay over my head. I finally grasped it after reading
some of the comments. I am really one thick-headed ole fart.
To the image, I really like it because of the crisp detail front to back. Were I a betting man I might
surmise that we're looking at a, well done HDR image, that was then converted to B&W.
Regardless it is one spectacular image.
Great Image Phil, I passes the hang it on my wall test.
Bravo, Phil. Did you convert to B&W from a colour image or did you shoot this in mono? Either way, it's a photograph that I will keep coming back to for another look.
Thanks guys
@ chauncey - It's just a single hand held shot, with a couple of layers to pull back the sky a little
