Well - lets seeif this works
This is a 4.5 pound flufy fur ball rescued right from the back yard. Wasn't planing on any more but she ended up sticking around and the other cats took right to her.

Very challenging subject and lighting conditions. Nice effort.

Roger...read the FAQ on how to upload an image from your computer via Tiny Pics. If you go to GO ADVANCED, there is a button at the LHS side that says CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD FROM YOUR COMPUTER. It may not look right at first but when your press SUBMIT, it corrects itself. Also try cropping 1200 at the longest side of your photo...we have all experienced the same as yours here so you are not alone...

Anyway, I like the photo...it has a lot of elements to it...

Thanks John I used the on camera flash dialed back about one and a half stops. Otherwise the light was way to harsh with the lamp behind her.

She looks well comfortable Roger. Try posting at around 1000 to 1200 px width so we can appreciate it better.

Here is a little tighter crop. I think I'll have to show her in a shot with one of the other cats to show her size as she isn't very big. Oh and everyone should know these are all just snap shots nothing realy spectacular.

This one is 1K on the long side and the first one is 900px on the long side. No mater what I do following the upload directions the pic shows up small so ya have to click on the image.
Oh - and yes she is comfy

Nice looking crew! I miss having cats. I just have 2 dogs at the moment.

    Welcome to CiC!!!!

I, too, cut my teeth on LooneyTunes and Hanna Barbera cartoons.

Thanks Marie We had a dog (Chewy) and had to have her put down on Mothers day last year - was a lousy day and the S O wasn't pleased to say the least. All of the cats were very quiet for a few days and tried to give some extea attention to the wife. Amazing how anamals just seem to know. Also just lost one of the cats back on the 6th another loss in less than a year - Chewy was 15 and Princess (the kitty) was 14 and they were both with us from when they were just a few weeks old, they would play together and that was fun to see. Great of them to share their lives with us.
