Huge improvement there, well done Brian and well done to the people who take time out to tutor!
Nice way to document your progression. Keep at it.
Wow! What a difference a year and a half make! That is such an improvement in such a short space of time. And kudos to you for asking for and taking guidance so well.
And agreeing with those praising the forum. I have only recently joined and am finding it a real inspiration.
Keep going. Who knows what you will produce in another year and a half.
I agree with your assessment of CIC. It is a great place to learn and interact with people who want to help you get better. That is the reason I joined. Keep posting more insects, Brian. You really learned how to get those detailed shots!
The great gift of being teachable and humbling oneself has many rewards as proof in you . The hopefully , your mentor also hopefully gained from this too. Progress is a process that does require work. So , keep up the great work.
Congrats Brian
Brian, old adage - you can lead a horse to water, but the horse has to drink to make it worth it - your ability to embrace the feedback and learn from it is the key, and is clearly evident
but as noted its a two way process and each party benefits if carried out well
