Sometime back there was a discussion on lighting metal and reflective objects here on the forum. Someone mentioned a photographer that, if I understand correctly, taught himself techniques for photographing tools and metal objects that are reflective. I believe he wrote a book on the subject.
I believe the tool catalog sold wood working hand tools in the 50's and 60's. (best that I can recall)
