    Jill, thanks for mentioning the intimacy, that means a lot... As I want the viewer to be able to feel like part of the scene.

    Beautiful image and a useful thread. I would have never noticed nor thought about the top of the fence posts being even with the horizon. Having had the situation brought to my attention I begin to see how it might make a difference. Slowly, ever so slowly, I begin to catch on to the details of what makes a good image thanks to the sharing and commentary that occurs in threads like this one.
