    Those clouds helped to tone down the over exposure risk but they also obscured the clarity a little. But you still have good sharp edges to the sun.

    Looks like a nice weather to photograph an eclipse when it is dark and cloudy. At least it did not hurt your eyes? This is very moody in a sense...
