A face only his momma could love

This guy was let out to walk around the museum grounds to get some UV's. I almost ran right into him, imagine my surprise I loved the way his tongue was sticking out. As alway CC always welcomed and appreciated.

Nice sharp portrait of an interesting subject. Maybe fractionally tight on the top and right side but possibly you had to exclude something.

Geoff, Thanks I am not sure what happened I did not think it was that close when I posted it. I had plenty of room so not trying to avoid anything. I need to revisit and see if I can regain the lost. Thanks for pointing it out.

Lovely picture and I am with his/her mother. What a lovely smile. Does he have a forked tongue like snakes and other reptiles?

Tony thank you. I am not positive as I was not THAT close but I do not believe his tongue to be forked. I had no idea that there were orange iguanas but was told that this particular breed turns orange at maturity. I was struck by his coloring.

I like the texture you got from here, Barbara...very sharp and pronounced. And I think he is ready for bed...
