    Super shots Barbara #2 is such a stunning , beautiful image. I wish you had more space above the head in #1.

    I have to shut my mouth before a mosquito flies inside........amazing shot with that lens at max! How far were you from the owl? Just curious...

    Beautiful portraits - and with YOUR skills on birds I dare to "complain" on a very, very high level: in the one-eyed picture the focus seems not exactly on the eye but on the eye-"lashes"

    Thanks Binnur, I actually had one with a little more space but for some reason the side was a "ghosty" I loved the side view so I picked this one verses the other. I actually have more of these and will post a few more later.

    Thanks Grahame! I have but I need to get use to using it for in flight birds. It is a little slower than my 300mm nothing a little bit of practice shouldn't fix

    Izzie, you keep those mosquitos out! Thanks! I am horrible with distance. The first I did no cropping and the 2nd if I did crop it was minimal, maybe an inch from each side, if that.

    Thanks Erwin! It could very well have been the eyelash I focused on ! I starting shooting and realized I had not turned on the image stabilization I was shooting hand held. So when I did put it on I was rushing my shots a little.
