Thanks for taking time to look and comment, I've just looked out of the window and the tulips are still closed up.
If I was presentable I would go out and take an image or two. But... we have a white frost here this morning and I not going out in my dressing gown and Chanel #5. Our neighbours think I'm daft already

OK I got dressed and went out to get close to the Emperor. Here is the same bloom which had yet to open as the sun had only just started to show and there was still a frost on the lawn. His companion is called Shirley.

My tulips are beautiful too but not as good as these ones you have here. I suppose tulips are tulips while they are still trying to open up for the sun, eh? #1 is beautiful as is and you have captured the centre well and good...love tulips but they do not seem to stay long enough...
P.S. You forgot to put your make up before you came out of your front door...we have the same kind of neighbourhood environment I think...I do not comply to them well going out in my jammies with my shorts on top of it.
