Dark Paths & Silver Light - Continued

For those with a good memory, I was playing with this concept last year - plenty of locations still to explore

Very nice shots Did you use an IR filter for #1 and #4 or just PP work?

The third image looks best to me. Plenty of detail without being over complicated.

I keep saying that I don't go for black & white. I have to admit that, seeing this series, I was mistaken. I do go for all of these, especially the second.

This is a fine series in concept and execution. I think monochrome can be an extremely expressive way of seeing the world.

Four nice shots each with it's own attraction. Nice work.

Very nice series, Matt. Number four is my favorite.

    Thanks Binnur.
It is an IR modified Oly EPM1. So normally is it crisp & clear like #4.
But on the first three, I also ran an IR film effect over it, which gives that soft flare look.

    Hi John,
I find the IR gives me whole different world of tones to play with, so can give a rather different look to a normal B&W.

Thanks for the info Matt. I might buy an IR filter in the future because I love IR images. When the time comes I will have to start a thread in CinC to find out the most suitable filter

I really like #1, #2 and #3. But #4 looks too infrareddish and turned, look like a negative
