Nice portraits.
Ashish,
Of the two, and both are very well done, I like the first best. The gentleman's facial expression shows hunor and laughter. Along with the tilt of his head and the way his eyes are cut makes me wonder who is sharing this moment with him. Good work!
I love authentic expressions, when we get to see people as they really are, and they're not trying to force a certain look. Well captured!
A great pair of candids. I would say that you caught the moment very well.
Excellent captures - well taken.
I admire people like you who are very kind to these kind of people like them. That you depict them in your series, is very nice indeed. They are both excellent shots I must say and they have their joys as much as share of sorrows from time to time. It is life. If I am there in your group, I would have chatted up a storm with them. But that is just me.
lol it is totally true nothing better than a smile
+1 to Dean's comment
I agree with Dean plus the guy's facial structure is just interesting to me.
Many thanks Izzie... Our group works closely with an organisation called Grassroutes which specialises in village tourism and rural orientation programs. They work closely with villagers and train them as hosts and guides for the tourists. They do great work and have significantly contributed to improving the villager's standard of living. We,as a photography group, work closely with Grassroutes and organise landscape and Portraiture workshops at these villages and a part of the money goes to the villagers. Ours is a very small contribution to the much larger cause that Grassroutes is working towards improving the lifestyle of these villages and promoting employment in these villages. You can read more about Grassroutes at www.grassroutes.co.in
Wholehearted in every sense of the word. Great captures.

Everything in portrait #2 pleases me so much, the ambient light, the soft bokeh, masterfully done.
These are both just simply wonderful! Well done & a great story.
