Great pano. It looks level to me and I like the sky.
What a majestic scene, and beautifully captured! Wow! In my personal opinion the image doesn't need to be rotated at all... It looks level to me. Also, I don't mind the trees, but might have liked to see a bit more of them. Perhaps just a tad more would help the viewer feel like they were included on purpose? Just my humble opinion. I don't think I would advise cloning them out, especially given the fact that you were intentional about including them. Thanks for sharing!
When I first saw this image, it took my breath away but I forgot to comment on it. Now reading all the comments, I agree with Kristy that it would have been great if you included more of the trees at the bottom...so +1 to Kristy's comment.
Oh btw, 40 hours of PP on one image is a bit too much to me. I wish I have your patience.
Kristy, hi and thanks for your post. This image has been around for a while and posted elsewhere with no comment about the trees. As I mention father up in this thread, the crop is different on the print with more of the trees showing. I suspect the aspect ratio of the way it displays on line may have caused a tighter crop. The print hanging in my home leaves no doubt about the tress and they are more prominent. If anyone can help with this, as to the possibility of the aspect ratio theory, my thanks in advance. I do appreciate your kind comments Kristy.
Hi Izzie, 40 hours is OCDish. (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) considered a disease by many, I cosider it an asset as a high realist image maker. The Devil is in the details, you really need to see the print to appreciate the detail the 645 can produce. Thanks for your visit and your comments.
Class stuff
As far as changing the aspect ratio is concerned, I always use the TinyPic method of displaying my images and it has never changed the aspect ratio. What method did you use?
Thank you Nandakumar, given your talent and energy, it makes you compliment even more appreciated. I have solved the mystery of the trees, there are two crop versions showing the original sky-scape and the cloned one, the image on the Flickr page here at upper right is the crop used to publish the Giclees and show the actual crop re: the trees. https://www.flickr.com/photos/aeros4...57627605356989

Thanks Paul. Doing pano's that involve water can be tricky as I suspect you already know, I've had my share that didn't work because the software could not match up the moving water. As for the level issue, this image has to be the most challenging one I have ever done because to find a reliable level reference is near impossible. Thanks for looking and for your kind comment.
