However I have held off and now have a 6D to replace my ageing 1DS MK ll
but and this is a BIG BUT I cannot figure in the menu how to tell it to make TEA
Any help please?

A menu is for ordering tea not making it - you may as well order scones while you are at it...
I hope the 6D works well as a camera.

Russell, in order to make tea, you need to go into the menu. The default setting allows the 6D to only make espresso
