    Falls Photo Shoot

I don't know why couples always want to use the Falls as a backdrop, afternoon photo shoots always results in backlit images. I just snapped this as the happy couple frolicked at the rail.

Maybe because the Falls is famous and they want everyone who did not manage to go to their wedding knows where they got married...Nice capture....were you the photographer at their wedding?

    Hi Izzie,

Thanks for the comments. No, I wasn't the photographer, I just happened to be in the area when they posed. I'm not saying the Falls is a bad spot for photography, well in a way I am; but it's more about time of day that is the issue. Granted you can use fill flash to handle all of the shadows.

    Interesting shot, John.

Just thinking about the many times I've been to the Falls. When I was growing up, one of my aunt's lived in Niagara Falls, NY, so we would be there several times a year. Every time we got overseas visitor's there would be a trip there as well.

In all that time I can't recall ever seeing a wedding party there, even though the area has such a long history associated with weddings.

    Hi Manfred,

Thanks for commenting. I saw at least three wedding parties there this weekend, much more than I typically encounter.

Adorable shots clicked. The photo shoot is one of memorable moments at the time of the wedding. It remembered me, my wedding shot which was arranged at the venue Boca Raton, under the grand banyan Trees and a cascading fountain.
