An ear?
Same here, an ear. With imagery such as this I like to spin it around to see if something else catches my imagination.
A Day Lilly comes to mind first.
Without a doubt, a gorgeous Cobra! And I can't wait to see in the final rendition!
Maybe if you have only one, the top especially, you can turn it into a nice gramophone???
I thought of a gramophone, too. You just need to add a smokey dog.
Reminds me of a Specimen Hornling Hi-Fi speaker I fancy having to listen to in the conservatory.
I also thought "His master's voice" (gramophone), but to do that properly needs a dog too
Temporally gave up...this Stones song comes to mind...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROAKlnaMuRwWithout a doubt, a gorgeous Cobra! And I can't wait to see in the final rendition
The beginnings of a Dini Surface.

Steve...I 'm thinking that you created that image using calculations in some sort of CAD program.
Am I correct? Don't see any practical representation of anything...
But the same could be said for my smoke stuff I guess.
No I didn't do it Chauncey; it's geometry I'm afraid and I prefer algebra. Looks a bit like folded paper now but I suppose the smoke could do the same thing for some reason obvious to a geometer.
I was just reminded of it because I have the same pattern printed on a lens cleaning cloth.
