I guess this one fits here - ish - I took my lady to David Austin Roses on Sunday, we had to be in Lincoln on Monday for my wifes mother to scatter her husbands ( my wifes father ) ashes so I thought to take her out for the day before and she loves Roses. Unfortunately the location is 2 fields away from RAF Cosford and they were having a Air Show, so it got a bit noisy, I was photographing roses but had to give this a go - even with a macro lens on - not too bad I think all things considered, not what you normally use a macro lens for !
A F18 Hornet I believe,
then the historic flypast of Hurricanes and Spitfires
The Red Arrows were of course part of the display
Then I had to swap over to the D5200 with the 70-300 on it for this one - the last flying Vulcan Bomber, and this was its last flight as it has now lost its airworthy certificate so it wont be seen again in the air so it is the end of an era in British military aviation
