This is very good Brian as I said in the "show us your bugs thread".
Obviously a bit of noise in the image but I should imaging that this is pretty heavily cropped.
Great colours, was this hand held and what were your settings for the shot.

It is quite a crop. Hand held but sitting and well braced. A. priority, F/14, 1/100 and an ISO of 250. I got the pinks close in Sony Express and the green came out in Gimp. The two programs seem to compliment each other. I have been trying the cropping in SE but the program in Gimp is better so I will be changing the work flow yet again.

I don't know about great but it is sure a surprise to be getting this quality closeup / macro. I have shot this type of spider a fair bit with the 4200 and not gotten results this good.
