    Doesn't need mono. The light in the colour version is great. A bit more detail in the shadows perhaps.

    I prefer the slightly tighter crop of the mono version though.

    I think the B & W is a stronger composition and doesn't have those wires cutting across the image as in the colour version. I, too, am not sure if it's best in B & W. The colour in the colour version is good. Good picture - Ugly ship.
