    Circles

I came upon this scene while I was becoming comfortable with a lens I had rented to use the next day doing event photography.

Nice capture, I like the first composition but the Lightbox places a gray bar across the image totally changing the look.

Thanks, John! I might rework the background of the first one perhaps to make it completely uniform, which would include eliminating the horizon created by the edge of the tabletop. I believe the line you're seeing is that edge.

Nice shots, Mike. Interesting that I don't see any change in Lightbox as John does.

Same here...but I saw the edge of the table you mentioned. Is the noise natural or did you intentionally included it?

    Thanks, everyone!

Izzie: The noise is natural. I was shooting at ISO 6400 because I was using the longish end of a 70-200mm zoom lens. If I hadn't been practicing the use of that lens, I probably would have used a 35mm prime lens at a much lower ISO.

Well...I am on the side of the #1 fan, Mike...that is good. I had not intentionally used noise in any of my images but there are some that really qualifies as a good photograph with one. This is one of them.
