Just curious as to what you wanted the viewer to take away from this one.

Jim, the broken pier and the light coming through the trees seemed interesting but a bit mundane in my “normal” image, so I decided to give a try of the camera shake technique.
After several attempts with different shutter speed and shake pattern, the best result I achieved was when I moved the camera from left to right for one second. That’s all.

Not sure if this makes sense in Bulgaria but it looks like the Road Runner just zipped by.

We do have some members who regularly post blurred or soft focus images amongst a number of various 'abstract' effects and the best of them are very effective. But it is extremely difficult to get something which actually works well; and there are always a lot of rejects.

To me, this scene has potential but this particular attempt doesn't quite work.

Nothing at all wrong with trying something different Jordan. I try different, some work most don't, but I do learn.

    That's what makes it fun.
