Sunset on top of the Sleeping Giant

Another shot from my camping trip last Friday.. I'm getting sick of sunset/sunrise shots now to be honest.

You can get too much of a good thing!

It's a good pic though. Strong foreground and then plenty of space for the eye to roam away to the background.

I love it, but you don't need the burned bits.

Another lovely sunset Matt You live in such a nice place that even you get bored of the scenes with lovely sunsets.

You can't have enough sunsets Matt and this one is nicely captured. Good comp and exposure. My only thought is that there is a lean towards Cyan (see the rock). Might be worth de-saturating the cyan channel if you have the means. Something like:

Wonderful, Matt! Of the three versions posted so far, I far prefer the first one. That's mostly because of the use of warm and cool tones and partly because the flare that is present in front of the rock formation.

I am not a sunrise/set aficionado but, I do like this image because of the inclusion of the rocks in the F.G.

A wonderful image Matt. I really like the way you have the rocks placed and the way the rays of the sun just touches them.

I like it Matt and you have done a good job of revealing the foreground detail without it being in too much shadow.

It reminds me very much of my recent trip to Wales and after the cold I endured there I take my hat off to anyone that shoots sunrises and sunsets there

Thanks John, I agree with the cyan but you might of gone a bit far there for me
