My guess Jim is that the deer survived the savage attack from your ferocious cat, I could be wrong

What actually happened? I've never seen or heard deer interacting with a pussy cat (as distinct from a cougar).

Animal to animal, they can actually interact with one another without being vicious I suppose...as long as they are not threatening...with Mr. Rusty, even if his looks is not on the soft side, the deer (venison in my eyes really
