Very nice image - I like the intent stare you are getting from the cat.

By the look on your cat's face, you're doing a good job.

That look with your cat is more subtler compared to Mr. Rusty...looks gentler...

Nice photo Matt. I think the cat is telling you, "If you are bored, mow the lawn and stop annoying me."

That's awesome. Nice job with the focus through the grass.

I think the cat likes the long grass, as cover to hunt birds, but is annoyed with Matt for scaring them all away.

    Nice crop/composition Matt.

    Cheers, Dave

Spot on Dave, I've even put a bell on her to stop her catching and bringing the dead birds in... but that that didn't work

It's the half dead birds they bring in which are a bigger problem!
    Or mice, etc.

I was watching TV the other day and could smell something odd, I looked down the side of the sofa and there was a dead bird and a headless mouse.

I've rescued a few mice and released them back into the field behind my house

Beheading mice seems to be a common operation for cats. Mine has never brought in a mouse with it's head intact. Sure, she'll leave it 2" away from the body, but never intact.

Matt, nice shot, great clarity and focus on the eyes, I've tried to take shots of my dog so many times, but as soon as I point the lens, he comes up and sits next to me

Thanks Gerry I scattered some cat biscuits on the grass and took the shots while they searched for them
