Nice efforts, I think the semi full (no feet) body shots work best.
Terrific shots well composed. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful model, great shots. I have to agree with her choice for the stand out though Kay.
Very nice shots of a nice lady
All are nicely done, Kay, but I must agree with the model's choice.
Kay - these are beautiful posed and captured images. Well done!
Let me point out a few nitty gritty issues that you may or may not agree with.
1. The backgrounds and your model are in competition, and this is weakening the composition. While you have taken care to soften the background by shooting a shallow DoF, the light parts of the background compete with your model and distract from her. If your model stood out more from the background, you would have an even stronger image.
This is a lighting issue and not trivial to overcome as it will require supplemental lighting onto the model.
2. Portrait purists might point out that in your first image, you have the nose cutting the cheek line and the line of the fence appears to be sticking through your model's head.
In the second one, purists might suggest that you are neither at a profile view nor showing a portrait view and the appearance of the back eye might be a compositional issue.
In the third shot your model appears to have a branch sticking into her head.
As I said, all in all minor points, but if you fix these, the compositions will be even stronger.
Beautiful model. Lovely hair. Suave use of ambient light. Seems the constant breeze through her hair and dress gives ambiance to your images.
I agree with Manfred the backgrounds do distract. Her nose portrude beyond her cheek.
One constant distraction in all images seem to be that fence or gate.
Just cloning it out of all images will dramatically change them to more of a model in the midst of nature look.
Just me. Thanks

Very nice Kaye, what a beautiful girl, well done!
Absolutely beautiful model with classic features. However, the images did not grab me. Somehow the fence seems to be an intrusion. I would also like to see some head and shoulders shots.
Ummm, well, I like the prop of the gate - it adds to the "nature" element of the scene as a whole, but that's a matter of taste. And that preference may have influenced the next comment, clone out the gate - where would that leave her hands? If the objective was a "model" shoot rather than a holistic "model in an attractive setting" one, the gate etc needed to be dealt with before shooting (like we used to have to do with film, as some will remember). I like them Kay, thanks for sharing - and especially for having a go with the backlit one.
Thankyou Manfred, your feedback is always constructive and very much welcomed..
I did have supplementary lighting in the pal, but no VAL, and the wind was too much to risk a light stand in the quite literally 'field'.
I do have the nose/cheekline & background line through head in my mental 'portrait rule book' but the first is actually pretty hard to follow - Ive tried at times & it can give a too much whites of the eyes wolf look or too many creases in the neck.
The branch in #3 most definitely, I didn't pick that & it is easily fixed.
The one thing I saw that I thought others might mention, is should I remove some of the flyaway hair strands.. funny what each of us sees in the same image, of course thats part of the appeal of this game.
Thankyou again, I did do a couple of more classic 'model only' I will edit one of those later tonight.
