Computer death

An old computer I had out in the garage decided it'd had enough of the heat out there, so it up and died on me.
While this was unexpected, it wasn't a great loss as it was 10 yrs old and had lived thru going to school with one of my kids. I'd rebuilt it numerous times, changing the hard drives out as small ones (200mb! ) became filled quickly what with digital cameras, music etc becoming the rage.
It was, in a way, like loosing an old friend, a constant in my life, something that was always there, waiting, patiently, to answer the call whenever I needed it. My wife could never really understand why I needed a computer in the garage when I had a perfectly good one in the house. Well, when you work on cars as much as I used to, it came in handy for looking things up or just referencing pictures I'd taken of things I'd taken apart and wanted to put back together again, correctly.
So, in homage to the garage computer I decided to do a little macro photography on it's brain after I'd gutted it of all the still useful bits and pieces. This is what I came up with yesterday, before taking the now empty case to the recycling dump.

I am shelving one of my pooters in my den too...it was a long though sometimes hard relationship at times but it was well the long road and relief to get rid of it finally soon...just like yours...
