Finally a break in the rain...

Today I've experienced torrential rain, hail and sunshine all within a few hours. Luckily I was in the right spot when we had the sunshine Here are two images I took today, they are both within about a mile of each other.

#1 - Nice house to live in!
Finally a break in the rain...

#2 - Had to bump the ISO up on this one as those blades were moving quite fast!

    C&C welcome, thanks for viewing.

Hi again Matt. IMO the greens are a bit on the blue side in the first image, so I would fix them. I love the golden tones in the second image

Looking good to me, particularly the first image. There are a few very small dots in the centre area when viewed at full screen size; some of which are probably sheep but there are others which look a bit odd.

Looks better Matt Reducing the highlights a bit on the bright sunshine might also work

It's amazing to realize that the lush green vegetation and the dry brown vegetation in the two images are in scenes that are so close to each other. Very nice images!

I actually prefer the first version (of the first image) because its style is more consistent with your typical style. If you prefer the color balance of the second image, try increasing the saturation of the green tones to get them back to your typical style.

I really like the first take on one. That's a fantastic job.

Hi Matt - These are truly enjoyable to look at. I like the first one the slightly better because of the multiple colors (blue, greens, and gold) and the seed tops of the grass seem to be bent by a breeze giving a since of movement in the landscape. The second one is inviting. The road in the middle gives it great perspective.

Cheers Mike, I looked at both versions again this morning and I prefer the original

I like the first image because of the overall content and composition. On the second shot, I don't particularly like the idea of wind farm stuffs, but the colour is absolutely beautiful and the composition leading the audience towards the path beyond. Both good ones.

Another beautiful set of images (even though you use the saturation slider instead of the vibrance slider ).

We seem to have been having similar weather, although the clouds broke here, freezing temperatures and a touch of snow replaced it (not somethig that makes me want to get out and take pictures).

Nice series Matt, well captured. I'm a bit of a NIMBY when it comes to wind turbines but they do make excellent photographic subjects.
