I agree, but the predictions I've been hearing say they won't be getting as much snow this winter out of the El Nino, it'll be more rain. Won't take too much to wash out that road and it could be a long time re-opening it if it does go out.

There are a couple ways in besides that's almost a year away. I used to work a lot of winter road repair and necessary roads are rarely down for long. It may be down to one lane in spots but passable.
