Making do with what ya got

This lady is past her prime and I was too cheap to replace her just yet...
saving money for what may come.

Anyhow, I applied some funky lighting using my, adjustable colors, LED lights.
Then stacked and merged to 40"

Nice, have you tried printing yet, those edge colors look like they may be troublesome?

John, this was an image for playing around...not ready for prime time.

With a bit of edit, you can always make the edges a little bit more fresher looking since you intended this for editing only. I think it is beautiful as it is even for printing, warts and all...

There are some background problems visible in the image as presented that I don’t believe I’ve ever seen before!

I couldn’t say what all of this is but I would guess it is a result of something that happened in post. The “stair-step” stuff is a mystery to me.

Also looks like some residual stems, etc. from a possible inaccurate selection.

Any idea what this may be wm?

As a matter of fact...I do...it's called impatience during the image capture process.

I shot these tethered using Canon Utility Software, which allows for computer controlled settings...
and focus adjustments using arrows for focus shifting. I neglected to use sufficient numbers of
stacked images which caused the choppy appearance...and that caused the photomerge process
not to properly align...which necessitated manually distorting and aligning the eight stacked images.

Twas a total SNAFU on my part.

In my defense though, roses, using this technique, are proving more difficult that are other
    types of flowers.

Well, I guess that explains a lot of things then.

    Thank you sir.
