The second (cropped) version for me too.

The first thing I did when I looked at the top of the thread, before reading any posts, was to put my left thumb over that branch to 'remove' it from the shot, but the crops works better still.

Pictures like this usually don't work for me, but this one does - too late in day to try to analyse why though.

    Cheers, Dave
Thank you for your non-critique comments Dave...now I can really rest my soul tonight knowing I will not have to edit anymore...had you been less tired, you would have found a lot of flaws... God is good and on my sweet side today...

    'Appreciate your passing by...

I prefer Binnur's solution of brightening the large limb but Donald's solution by cropping also works really well.

Try darkening the bright beige tones in the background to determine if that helps the leaves pop even more than now.
I will try that Mike...Actually that was the house across the road diagonally from us. I lowered that grey-ist spots in Nik but I think it needs more toning down...I had already printed this image after I re-processed the image per Binnur's suggestions and between the glossy and the matte version, the glossy version is so different than the sweetish version printed in matte...there a lost of sharpness. It is sort of soft whereas the glossy looks exactly as how this image looks like in my screen...

Thanks for the advice and suggestion and for commenting...I do value your thoughts.

Hi Isabel. It is difficult to choose one but I think the cropped one looks better compositionally

Yes I thought so too but I like the last edit better as per your suggestion -- I don't know why but when I printed it, I like both the glossy than the matte too. That branch at the time I cannot let go as it sort of stick there to complete my image...

Thank you for your further comment and preference. I do appreciate it very much...
