    The Valley Below

EDIT: I've made a mistake in the bloody title, it should read "THE Valley Below"

I went for a drive/walk today, and obviously took a few shots.

This is one of the first I have processed (in my more traditional style ), it is 4 images stitched together.

I would of liked a bit more sky to be honest, but I plan to get back up here for sunrise on the weekend anyway so I can put that right.

    C&C Welcome

EDIT: This needs to be viewed as LARGE as possible

Yes maybe a little bit more sky; or as an alternative, try reducing the sky a little with the same amount from the left side.

Your current sky level seems to be at something of a mid way point which doesn't quite look right but, for me, reducing the amount over the hill by around a quarter to one third actually seems to look better than what you have now.

Not quite sure what you mean there?

I like the array of colors from all the different types of grasses and bushes. Nice image.

Yes it does. This is very nice. The saturation has been pushed to great effect (I think??). One way or the other those lovely yellows and russet browns are a treat. Good work Matt.

It's a lovely image Matt but for my taste the saturation could come down just a little but not so much as to spoil the overall effect, but then it isn't my image so what do I know.

I like this, Matt. Viewed large I feel like I'm walking around in the scene looking at all the details. Nicely done.

Matt, you are the saturation wizard. I love it. Your DoF is, to my mind, spot on. Matt, where do you get the colours from!
    Cheers Ole
