Dave, please make it without that carry paper box; it will be a killer

It looks not bad even now
Very simple composition, nicely done.
I like it I would have liked it even more if the small part of the blue cover in front of the two eggs hadn't been there.
PS .Or may be a different shooting angle to reveal the eggs more.
Possibly my monitor, but is there a slight blue cast to this image?
When i tilt monitor of my laptop a bit, i see a minor blue case, but not otherwise
Are the other eggs suppose to be white? Must be my monitor...
I like this image. You chose the best brown egg, with the spots, to put out front. Interesting how something so simple can be a delightful image.

Looking at this again, Im inclinded to agree..... maybe folding that flap down would have made an improvement.... Ill see what I can do.
Ummmm... the eggs were all varying shades of Brown and spots.... but their was a vast range of browns to cover
Thanks for the feedback

There are a couple of areas on the top edge and one on the left edge where we're seeing black/dark tones. A number of reasons why that might be, but it is distracting, I think. Otherwise, I like the idea and the execution.
I think we could debate whether the space to the right contributes to the picture of could have been cropped tighter in to the egg at the front of the box.
Nice idea, Dave, although I think the image is marred a little by too much blue in the shadows.
Good shot. Like the spots on the eggs telling it as they come. Have to agree with Donald that maybe a little bit cropped from the top edge and a bit more off the RHS would improve the composition. I liked the angle of the box to the lens plane in the frame. Drew my eye into the box which because of its orientation the corner seems to project out towards the camera giving a 'quasi' 3D effect.
