Hi Matt, Kali has beautiful eyes
The thing right behind her has similar colors to Kali and that's why there is no seperation between them. Can you find a way with PP to make Kali stand out more ? May be changing the color of the 'thing' or desaturating it selectively ?

Matt, an enjoyable photo. We have a black cat and they're not the easiest to obtain detail, etc. in the fur.
