    Southern Migration

You know a change of season is in the air when you see that your garage has started it's annual Southern Migration.

    Mamiya RB67 Pro SD + Mamiya K/L 65mm f/4.0, Film = Kodak Ektar 100, Shutter = 1/125th Second, Aperture = f/8

Needs a bit of processing to correct the lens distortion. Nice capture.

What a fitting name for this picture. Your poor garage.
Will it migrate North later this year?

I tried and for some reason, it's still doesn't come out right, maybe a black hole was distorting the Universe as I snapped the image.

I doubt it, I'm suspecting it heard one too many Texas gulf coast sea shanties.

The problem with your lens is that has the very unusual parallelogram distortion.

I wonder if the Upright/straighten tool in Lightroom would fix that

If you drink enough wine the problem will go away.

Or you come late to the party and the images have all disappeared. Could it be that the garage in question has gone to another universe Southern Migration

That's it. It was trying to enter a parallel universe but only got as far as a parallel dimension.

Oh Dear the images have now transported back to this universe. I don't believe any Lens correction will be able to fix that building but it does look like something for Tbob to shoot

Nah far too warm for Tbob to survive. He basically works in a different white universe with glowing skies.

Step..actually I was expecting birds, not a worn out garage going south! Darn! I was suckered by your post title.

Just to help until the reverse migration takes place I put it into warp mesh but the vegetation remains rather twisted I'm afraid.

    Re: Southern Migration

The scene in my photo no longer exists. The property is being renovated. The yard in front of and just to the right of the tilty garage has been cleared of brush, and has a large construction site dumpster. I do not believe the garage will be allow to progress much further.

Since capturing this photo, storms caused the garage to tilt further, but it remained standing. I was wondering and watching to see when it would fall over, but I doubt that would even be allowed now.

It's sad to see a scene vanish into the past, never to be seen again, apart from what is preserved in the photo.
