Hey Happy new year all, just thought I'd post a few images I've managed to work on over the Christmas period.

The weather is still crap so opportunities are few and far between.

Not sure I like the halo in the first one Mike but that's just my taste.

The second one is a great composition with that road leading the eye back and forth across the image

The third is my pick. What a wonderful mood you've achieved.

In #1, my main feeling is a desire to set the black point accurately. I'm not normally a fan of this kind of shot, but otherwise, it works for me.

#2 is more your usual fayre, for me, this one is just a shade too processed.

#3 another where the effects need to be used carefully - and it is very well executed and this is my favourite, my only complaint being the incongruity of the sharp watermark in an area of blurred image content.

Personally, I'd rather not have the watermarks at all, but I appreciate your right to include them, especially given the quality of your images.

Hi Matt - I think these are wonderful and very artistic. I really enjoyed viewing them. I like the poster look of #1. On number #2, you might consider removing the smoke on the left and maybe the sign on the bridge. On #3 leave as is. I also like your the style of your watermarks.
