Just a thought:
Probably not a great idea to refer to him on the Internet as "crazy".
you never know who looks at these posts and you could face legal action for slander.
I know we here in Canada can take photos in public places without permission, but we can't use the photos for commercial purposes or slander the subject if they are posted.
I suspect the same applies in the US, and people there are far more litigious.

Just look at him, that wild look in his eyes. He walks around staring at trees and rocks and such as if he sees something in them. He is also always muttering to himself.

You should try and sell it to a stock photo company, you know, for psychotropic drug research, generic 'crazy person' or the more recent 'crazy eye'. Truly a frightening and most dangerous looking individual. As for any signed release, I wouldn't worry, he looks way too crazy to be concerned about using his face for commercial purposes, but I'd keep my doors locked anyway.

However, I never called any of those persons "crazy" because first, I'm not a Psychiatrist, and second, out of respect for human beings less fortunate than me.
In the end the Mark will do what he does, because that's RBSinTo's Law:
"Everybody does what they do. I do what I do. you do what you do, and he does what he does."

Robert, I will simply assume that you are blissfully unaware of something called tongue-in-cheek, from Mark's original post to all of the following comments. A further assumption on my part is that you clearly...clearly missed the fact that the picture is OF Mark and we were all responding, having gotten the joke. No worries though, I'll give you a heads up when another one comes along.

Oh and also, my comment was simply that, MY comment, to Mark, regarding HIS photo, I was not casting aspersions, nor insinuating anything at, towards or about anyone other than Mark. I'll chalk up the lack of humor to the likely cold temps you may/must be experiencing up there.

Oh and, as an aside, to me taking pictures of homeless is at least as disrespectful towards them as would be referring to them as crazy. I do neither.

Jack spilled the beans. Yes It is of me, It was taken the same day as the one in my avatar. I snuck up on Robin(my wife) and got a shot of here composing a shot. she turned around and I made a face that she caught.(The one in the original post on this thread) I found it yesterday and couldn't resist having some fun with it.

Yes, I missed the joke when I posted, and in light of the situation your comments were harmless.
As for your final remark, I spent a year of weekends about ten years ago meeting and chatting with a number of homeless people here in Toronto, and with permission photographed them. It was never done without their consent and if various individuals within a group did not grant permission, they were not photographed.
Yes there have been some pictures that were taken in other circumstances without permission but they were always taken with an eye to telling a story which might have made people think and be a little more sympathetic toward homeless people.
And so I do not consider my actions to be disrespectful in any way.
