Nice capture, the woman really adds life to the image!

I like this composition John! I think it would look "smokin" in B&W :-)

Nice image. I can hear the click of her shoes on the tile.

I really like the composition of this photo, I especially like the way that the mirrored building brings balance to the rest of the architecture. I like the sole lonely woman walking across the plaza and much prefer the color version to the black and white as it seems to add more depth.

It really does. The floor pattern, the arches and the woman's position relative to both just scream for this to be presented as a monochrome.

    Re: Plaza

I striking image. I prefer the B&W. I think the colors distract--e.g., the intensely colored awning on the left pulls my eye away from the central lines.

I think it would be even better if you adjusted the tonality more. E.g, maybe bring down the midtones (the wall is very bright) and increase contrast.

I like them both John...when I saw #1 I really think it is a 'WOW!' image...There is something about the strength of the colours in it apart from the composition that is so good there. The B/W made this shot subtle and quieter...

    Hi Izzie,

Thanks for comments, I think the setting lending itself well to B & W, now to control the highlights.
