    This is beautiful May I ask how you darkened the BG? Was the BG blue in real? If so may be a yellow filter helped in PP ?

    Thanks Binnur, The background was darkened by using 2 offshoe flashes with a small softbox on each to make sure that the light fell on the flowers. The flashes were held on either side of the plant and the aperture was kept at F9.0 to minimise the ambient light. Hope I have been able to explain it right. This was followed up with some tonal adjustments in PP.

    Definitely as advertised... Flower Art!

    My only complaint is the crop. The flower on the top left breaking the edge of the frame makes me want the plant to also break the edge of the frame on the bottom right. I know many photographers will say that any time the subject breaks the frame that is bad, but I disagree. But in my opinion, if it does, I want it to do so on at least the two opposite sides of the frame. Just a thought.

    The exposure and PP here are absolutely fantastic though. Truly art.
