I thought it would be an article on safe guarding your images, but the actual is just as worthwhile. I just recently went through an 800 count series from 2014 and found so many gems that I've spent the weekend editing.
Not only do I do this, I will also take an image and reprocess it from scratch.
My photographic skills have changed over time and so have my PP skills as well as my tastes and how I apply those skills.
Rummaging through the archives can be a lot of fun. And also re-processing images with new skills, software, etc. as Manfred points out. Cleaning up the files is a good way to spend winter days up here. Haven't gotten to it this year so far.
That was the first article I read in your blog so I continued on and searched for more...
Hell yes! I have been wanting to go through mine this winter but I am preparing for a trip to Oz so I will leave it for now...so much things to do with life getting in the way...
