Not bad, more difficult cutting one than photographing it.
It's always easier for me to use an item for its intended purpose than to make an equally effective photograph of it.

YOur pineapple looks good there. I like the colour too, must have that nice smell too. We used to feed nearly rotten ones to our pigs. Anyway, I do not remember my grandmother cutting pineapples that way. He lost almost a third of the fruit. I still cut pineapple this way:
