    Great to have this many opportunities to work with owls! Agree the first one in the series is your best and a very good photo at that! No distracting foliage in the way and a great context. Might consider adjusting the white point just a smidge to the right to create just a little more delineation between the owl and the cavity. Also opening up the shadow behind the owl's head on the left side leads to interesting information. But the camo appearance of the owl as you have it is also interesting. Well done!

    Thank you for all the comments, a specially Judith
    Alot of research to find these owls.
    Owl on the first picture was over 80 feet high in the tree, on the other photos owls Were all in dense foliage making them very hard to see and to photograph with a sharp focus..

    All photo have been taken in the city of Montreal in two park

    There are alot of owls in here where I live you just walk in the big parks and be observers
    it's easier to spot the owls in winter, fewer leaves...
    By the way I view your website beautiful photos and you stay in a place that seems filled with OPPORTUNITY for a photographer...
