Egg in the Raw

Because a raw egg's white looks gelatinous, I thought the edges would be more visible on the black BG. Hmm, why not a cooked one on a black BG ? Then the whites would look really white.

Keep in mind that a raw egg white is mostly transparent, not white. When photographing anything transparent, there is always the issue of defining the subject's edges.

I love cooking but discussing the egg and the process of why the yolk and the whites have different levels of why it happens that way is way beyond my grade. Maybe I am too tired to worry that I just want to eat it.
