    Performance Artists

This was taken the same night as the Tiki series linked here. Tiki I liked the expressions on the faces of the performers as they readied themselves for their show.

Indeed, an interesting trio, John. Your processing also adds intensity to the photo.

Strange photo, in a positive way. How did you get that effect with a speed of 1/200 and no flash?

George at a guess the EXIF data is probably for the base photo with several other photographs on layers blended in using masks - or some other similar technique.

John I prefer the second photograph. The first one seems a bit soft in the focus.

    Hi George,

The effect is done is post processing stage, I used Elements radial blur tool. Thanks for commenting.

Both good ones, John but I like the second one better. I am glad you did not combine uploading these two in one post. I had a hard time trying to upload images to the my last week of February P52 project yesterday as it only accepts one image. The rest turns the link into rubbish and can't be copied. Anyway, the second one was nicely process too as against #1 which is a bit on grotty side. the second one is colourful.

    Hi Izzie,

The first is heavily cropped as I was shooting with a fixed focal length lens and fighting with low light settings. The second image, the dancer was a bit closer to me and made it a bit easier to capture her actions. Thanks for commenting.

Nice one, John. The man looks like the same one from the B&W trio.

Just enough light to see everything, John. This is very difficult to capture, but you did it just right.
