Landscapes are not usually my thing...unless thy are odd , moody and a bit disturbed ( Like myself! )

However ...once in a while you just gotta try to catch that shot.

As I wrote elsewhere, what I think you do extremely well is use a light vignette as opposed to the dark one as is more 'normal'.

I remember reading an article in which the author was condemning light vignettes to the flames of hell. Was adamant that they NEVER work. Maybe they need to be used very carefully, but I think this is an image shows us that they can work.

The other thing this one has is lots of wonderful texture. You feel as if you could run your hand across the print and you'd feel all the texture.

Love the location and the processing but I desperately want to see a wider view as to me the crop feels very closed in and restrictive.
