The Narrows @ Zion National Park, Utah
The Narrows
After walking through the area, we learned 7 people had drowned the next day due to a flash flood.

Re: The Narrows @ Zion National Park, Utah
Zion is one of my favorite places. This shot is nicely composed and the people provide a sense of scale. It would benefit greatly with a bit of additional processing. Looks like auto WB overcorrected a bit for the red rock. A bit of warming, increased saturation and added "clarity" would help.
If I recall the seven people that drowned were canyoneering in one of the slots that dumps into the river. Bad business. Many people lost there over the years.

Thanks for the comments John and Dan. We were warned that any regional rains could cause flooding without warning. The next day we heard of the flood and loss of life. A beautiful area, but be aware of the danger.
