    Senior photo

I haven't been doing much photography lately, but my granddaughter wanted me to do her senior portraits. This is one I liked. C & C always.

I might suggest that it matters not a whit if you like it...does she like it?

    Thanks all for commenting.

William, she likes the photo and as you said that's what matters.

Keep the client happy, even if it is a family member. That's all that really matters.

Shots like this one (where you are hiding a significant facial element) are difficult to pull off and not to everyone's taste.

Something that might have worked a bit better would have been if she had pulled her hair back so it did not cut between the face and shoulder would likely have given you a stronger composition (but I am really getting into some nit-picking here).

I like this image, however, I might consider increasing the structure in of her eye and mouth and whitening her teeth just a tad. Quick and easy thing to do in the (now free) NIK Software by Google...

Just goes to show that good taste is an inherited factor.

I also like it. Very cute composition and great skin tones.

I love this shot, Dean. For me hiding part of her face adds an element of mystery and elegance.

    Well done.
