    A struggle in low light.

It was just after dawn and I struggled to get even a half decent image. Flash was not an option.
    Duck billed platypus.
    Mostly ISO 4000 F4

I went to the Melbourne Zoo several times and I can not, by the life of me, take a good shot of a platypus. These are great!.

    Thanks Izzie.

I'm told the platypus in the Eungella National Park about 50klm west of Mackay are active all day. That's about 800klm from us so it will make an interesting short break.

There were half a dozen people trying for a photo that morning at the Carnarvon Gorge camp site, but only the E-M1 with the 40-150mm + MC14 got a shot. People don't lug FF out there which is a pity there are so many scenes that need high ISO and low noise. HDR helps too.

One of those scenes where you'd have to be there and have your full arsenal of accessories; hoping you've got enough time to setup and get the capture. Nice efforts.
