    Robert's 15 seconds of fame.

Robert (RBSinTo) sent me (and a few others) a personal message. I said he should post on the wider forum, but he is too modest to do so, thinking some people might think he was just showing off. Not at all, said I.

So, to remove any doubt that Robert is seeking to blow his own horn, I'm posting his message to me. The link is well worth looking at:-

A photobud, Bob Fisher who is a fine photographer is writing a blog on Street Photography and as part of it, has interviewed a group of photographers including me, who do Street. Here is a link to his blog, which is followed by the interview (with more to come).
Read quickly or you’ll miss my 15 seconds of Internet Fame.

Really interesting interview, the sort I love to read. Thanks Donald for sharing, and congrats to Robert for the interview. Looking at his body of work, recalling his images that I've seen on here, and reading about his intentions when shooting, I think it's great that he has received this exposure and I'm sure others will learn from it as I hope I have.

I wish that Bob Fisher had posted the interview at the top of the article. I got tired of trying to figure out his Marshall McLuhan analogy before I got to the interview.

    Manfred,
Good, bad, or indifferent, Bob would be happy if you took the time to tell him in the comment section under the article/interview.
    If not, I'll tell him.

    Andy Warhol would definitely approve!

It took me a few days to get around to reviewing the piece because I wanted to wait until I had the time to give it the justice it deserves. In addition to all the great insights provided by both the questions and answers, I especially like that neither suggested that there is a right or wrong approach when considering the ethics of street photography. The publication of the interview in that regard was especially timely in light of a thread started here a week or so ago that, unfortunately, took exactly the opposite approach. Way to go to both Roberts (interviewer and interviewee)!

I forgot to mention that the three photos displayed throughout the interview can be displayed at a larger size and in sequence using the same method to do that in CiC's Lytebox. The photos are top quality and deserve to be viewed at the larger size.
