    Streets in colour (image heavy)

Ok I haven't posted for awhile so here are 10 images I have taken over the last couple of weeks all in the city of Swansea and surrounding areas, I've decided to process them as colour images unless it really calls for black and white. (see last image)

Nice set Matt - I won't go into too much detail except to say that #2 is my personal fave - texture, colour, movement and moment. Excellent.

1 & 2 for me Matt. I particularly like the contrast between the man in motion and the essentially static representation of the Arcade behind him. Any idea where it is? Looks a bit like Sicilian Ave off Southampton Row in London - but not quite??

Goos set, Matt. The first shot works really well, but 6 and 9 are the standouts for me.

Thanks John, I'm not sure where that is John - I will try and find out though.

Thanks Izzie! That building was done by Photini Matsi, a Cyprus born student who graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Great set, Matt. I like the combination of juxtapositions and intriguing human moments. The color processing is very interesting. Seems film-like. All very enjoyable.

Hi Sergio, I've turned down the saturation and increased the vibrance a bit.

    Matt,
    Very nice series.
    number one is my favorite.
My only suggestion is to watch the feet. you've cut them off in about three different shots, and while they are not absolutely necessary, your lens seems wide enough to have included them.

A very fine set of images that, with the B & W excepted, work very well as a set, as opposed to just a number of individual images.

I wrote elsewhere earlier this week that once you do start thinking of image making as being made to be part of a set, or a project, instead of just an individual image, you start to think differently.

Wonderful set Matt. I really like them - edgy and contemporary. The 1st and 2nd are amazing catches!

Great set Matt. I am quit intrigued by #1. The effect of the arcade is what I am finding so interesting. It almost looks like a painting that the pedestrian is walking past rather than an actual arcade.

It is a photograph printed onto some sort of surface and then attached the wall - not an actual arcade

I'll take a close up on the weekend if I remember to show you.
